Good Luck Meanon!
Meanon is currently in the process of moving into her new house. (A small step for mankind....a GIANT step for freedom!). She said she would try to access the site from work when possible....but will be offline the next 7-10 days from home.
If she has a chance to read this though....at least she will know we are thinking about her and wishing her all the best.

It is! I can't believe how quickly life was great again, really from the moment I left the old house. I think it's because I gave so much, there was nothing left I could have done for the relationship or for him. That means there's no baggage, no regrets or guilt - just wall to wall happiness . I'm enjoying the kids so much more too, they're blossoming. I'm not sure if it's being out of that dreadful atmosphere or that they are doing better because I am.
Rentals here are usually grim but I got very lucky and was offered a really beautiful house. That's helped the kids settle. It will be hard to leave it when the lease is up but it's a great start for us, that's what matters.
Star I saw your thread about your daughter. Not had time to post yet but I've been thinking of you. Hope you're OK.

You know you've made the right decision when you feel this happy. that's great meanon!
Even if the lease is up, couln't you renew it? You can do that here. wondering if it's the same thing there. It would be a shame for you to leave the house if you really love it that much.
I'm okay, thank you. she hasn't said anything to me yet but i did bring up the BC subject and stressed her to get on it. I'm hoping that she's not pregnant and she just thought she was or she lied to her friend for a bit of attenttion. All I know is that i'd rather not know because I really can't take on another baby.

A new start in life. I am glad things are looking good for you, and your children .
Children are intuitive creatures, and know when something is just not right. It is not just you who are feeling better because the past lies behind you, it is also true for your children. And of course you are reinforcing eachother's new found happiness.
