Getting Energy
What is the best thing a person can do to get over feeling tired all the time. I'm getting plenty of sleep and have been walking the dog to make sure I get exercise.....and I still wake up tired. I even bought some bad tasting orange fizzie stuff that you drink to give you energy and still don't have any.
I know I was sick for over a year....but this is ridiculous. I kid you not....I can come home at 6:30 and be in bed by 8:30. That's not a life.....

I find doing something either before or after work for yourself every day; something you love and can look forward to each day will make you less tired!
Since I've started doing that every day I'm not as tired.! I wake up around 4:00 and am up by 4:15 writing in my journal, that energizes me for the day! By the time I've written three pages, I'm wide awake, and I also make time for Inspirational-motivational reading every morning, extremely important to me!
A nice bubble bath with a cup of tea, soft classical music, a lit candle; reading a chapter or two from a book, watching a good half hour comedy, watching some Sports, haven't got time for a whole game in the evenings, some exercising, and, of course, my daily dose of Lifesupporters!! I try to do some of these every day! These work for me and energize me and I have something to look forward to every day...
When I make time to feed my spirit, I find that it is a very good day so going to sleep by 8:30 or 9:00 still gives me seven hours of restful sleep!

Well I am a big fan of energy drinks. Redbull, Energade, Kronic, Monster, Mountain Dew Energy...
The cheapest one and best tasting is Mountain Dew Energy. Pick up a 2L bottle and see how it works for you.

Are your oxygen levels totally back to normal? If so, you'll adjust soon, Merika. You work long days and it has to be a shock to the system after so long off ill. Don't push yourself too hard.
When I was in HR we arranged for people returning to work from a long sickness to build up to is slowly to avoid the fatigue you are feeling. Do you get leave yet? Now you've got off to a flying start at work, could you have the odd half day of to rest, while the kids are out say once a week? You'll have your life back soon. PM/email me to let me know how this week goes.

I would only suggest energy drinks for rare occasions of staying up late.
They're basically uber-caffeinated pop with some other natural stuff in it.
I don't know about you, merika, but when I started drinking more water and less juice and pop, it made me feel a whole lot better. Just by doing that!
Also, if you eat alot of junk food or the wrong kinds of food, it can make you feel like that.

I am such a morning person and hate to miss any of it!!! Even on weekends!!! ...Stems from childhood when we had to get up to keep the old woodstove going and making tea! One of my favourite memories of childhood...I know if I sleep in, my day just isn't as "charged up" as it is when I get a good, early start...
Another thing I also do for my body is take a multiple vitamin and calcium, seems to help, too.
