If you are in a bad or 'off' mood, do you try to get out of it by thinking funny or ludicrous thoughts? Does it work instantly, or do you have to work at it?
Cuddles usually work for me. If that doesn't do it, usually something has touched a nerve and I'll need to talk to a friend and shed a tear or two to get rid of it. I can easily not cry, but then the bad mood would persist and these days I never let anything bother me for long.
