Default Funny Thoughts

If you are in a bad or 'off' mood, do you try to get out of it by thinking funny or ludicrous thoughts? Does it work instantly, or do you have to work at it?

I just stay grumpy. Sometimes I start to cry and then I try to do something about it. I don't like to cry.

Cuddles usually work for me. If that doesn't do it, usually something has touched a nerve and I'll need to talk to a friend and shed a tear or two to get rid of it. I can easily not cry, but then the bad mood would persist and these days I never let anything bother me for long.
