Default firsts.....

Do you remember your first job? How about your first day at that job.

I was 17 and worked at a Der Weinerschitzel in Southern California. They are called Weinerschnitzel now I think. Don't remember my first day but I did enjoy it.

Great question! Do I ever remember my first job interview, never mind the job. I honestly don't know why the wonderful man hired me I was so naive and I won't say the embarrassing thing I did at the interview; I'll just say I got hired!

My first job was for an icecream place in the mall. Dipper Dan's or something similar. It was a good job for a 16 year old. I had a great time all summer.

Are those the A frame shaped places? I went to one in my teens in Flagstaff, AZ and always remembered it as the best food ever.

I think they were A framed. Their primary food were chili dogs and polish sausages. I loved them. We would take a plate of french fries and cover them with the chili. That was good too. Glad I didn't know anything about hardening of the arteries then. Ha!

I have had two jobs in my entire life. Both lasting for about 20 hours or so. It was in computers. One of jobs, which paid handsomely well. About 15 Euros an hour - not bad for a 16 or 18-year old.

First job? I never actually had a job yet. I was an Amway representative when I was 14 to 16, I did a lot of volunteer work in high school and at the university, but it was hardly ever (well) paid, LOL.

The first time I stepped into a business related institution was four years ago, for my first internship. It was too cool - an advertising agency. After 2 weeks I felt like I was born there. I took it really hard when my internship was over - oh well, everyone's so easily replacable!! I guess I was simply very naïve to invest myself like that.

Yep...our generation didn't get in on the 'eat healthy' thing until way too late!!! I remember when a burger wasn't considered good unless there was grease all over your bun. HAHA! I STILL love greasy foods. Ofcourse, this could be why I've got the gall bladder problem. LOL!

You were nine years old, the youngest paper boy they ever had, and you did great work and you only had to quit because we moved! They loved you! They even wanted you to deliver papers where we moved to...

That's hilarious. All I do remember is delivering papers in the dark and seeing earthworms all over the place if it was raining especially bad. It was an uphill route but coming back was a breeze and I remembered hating flyer day because the paper bag weighed twice as much.

I forgot to add that you delivered the papers so early and your customers were so happy because of that...you made some pretty good tips...I was told because I went with you to collect at times..
