Favorite Sushi

I'm off to get some sushi here in a bit and would like to try something new. I was just curious what is your favorite kind of sushi and what's in it?

So far the only sushi I've run into that I don't like is Tuna because it tastes like raw tongue to me.

I don't eat sushi so can't answer your question. I did once a long time ago and had tuna. It tasted like tuna and I am not a fan of tuna. I guess I thought raw tuna would taste differently. I am afraid I don't know what raw tongue or any other kind of tongue tastes like. Is it anything like chicken?????

I can't help you man. As much as I love sushi, I never order it personally when I go out. I just eat whatever the girls order.

Red snapper! Loverly stuff. Temaki sushi is my favorite but its all good. Just try at least a bit of everything and you'll quickly find the ones you do and don't like.

The only one i've not tried is proper Narezushi which is like pickled fish, apparently.

I bet up where you live Duke you'll get some of the best Sushi outside of Japan and Korea. Just go easy on the Wasabi sauce!

We have the worst all you can eat sushi on the planet I think. Anywhere that serves all you can eat makes it taste like small doses of rubber.

We do have good sushi places but it's hard to find the right balance of taste vs price here. Of course once you find a sushi restaurant that gives generous portions at decent prices, you stick with it for a long while.

I'll have to try Red Snapper, I just went for Salmon and it would have been good if they didn't pour hot sauce all over the roll and drown it.

As for wasabi consumption, I like my mix to be light brown in color and I love to feel the nose rush so you could say I like a LOT of wasabi.

I adore sushi. I can give up food altogether if ever I can always have sushi. I am very boring - favourite sushi is salmon

. Maki salmon is second best, Californian maki is just as close!

I don't mind tuna, or white fish... sushi sushi sushi! I am soooo going to have sushi tonight!
