Exile
Let's assume for whatever reasons you are kicked out of the country, and not allowed to ever set foot there again, nor in any country where you have lived for a substantial amount of time.
Where would you go to?
Why would you go there?

Mexico. Rocky Point more specifically. Open a beach front bar (Cocktail - Tom Cruise style), sit back and relax.

It really doesn't matter where I go, so long as I can take my daughter with me. If I had to move, I'd say somewhere high and mountainous, maybe the Alps.

I would leave the Netherlands almost cheerfully, and go to either South-Africa, and if that would not be possible, either the US or India. I need to get out of Europe and experience different cultures. Preferably with my girlfriend.

Hey, Vautrin, I noticed you didn't mention Canada? Just curious as to why?

I can't stand extreme weather. That is why India will probably be difficult too. And hopefully South Africa is not too hard on me.
Temperatures above 30 degrees centigrade are very hard on me, especially if the are is humid. And of course I don't like weather that reaches below - 20 centigrades either.
I have a hard time imagining a place in Canada that does not have such climatoligcal issue. The people there are great though

That leaves out most of the Northern Regions of America as well. It sounds like lower California is where you want to be.

Interesting. My girlfriend keeps saying that the climate in the San Diego area would be close to perfect for me.

Yes, but pricewise NYC is probably one of the most expensive cities in the world. But luckily, there would be little reason for me professionally to live in an expensive area. If it would be, I would let my clients pay for that

If I'd actually manage not to get bored with my education, that would be as a professional psychologist (probably clinical).
