Do you ever....
...check the 'Notify me when a reply is posted' option at the bottom of your thread box? I never really noticed it until the other day and was wondering if anyone used it.

I only use it if there's some info. that I really need in a timely manner. The rest of the time I pretty much live here so there's no need for it really.

I generally do. Some threads warrant more attention than others.
And it prevents me checking time and again, when there are no replies - mostly due to the time-differences between here and the US.

I do when I'm really really interested in a post...
or when I'm arguing with Vautrin and DA about a political matter...

Mine is always set. It helps me remember which topics I posted to. My old brain just can't keep up anymore.

Yeah...I keep thinking some great talk show producer will read our opinions and offer us some high paying TV commentator job. :? I don't understand why they can't see we know EVERYTHING! LOL!

It is simple. 98.7% of all airtime on current events, politcs, fashion etc. would have to be spent on the re-runs of our shows. Even ordinary people will grow tired of the 75 re-runs of each show.
So the broadcasters decide to produce garbage, and hope no-one notices.

We have LOTS of cable news channels!!! One of them should be honored to have our witty international opinions.

Only one? We could run the world from a studio. Including hilarious sketches.
And do the job at least as well as our current leaders. Besides, we would be far more popular than our current leaders. Fool proof plan, it seems .
