Do people really go into the fields they study in College?
Are you working in the field you want? I was amazed today when I read a survey that stated 65% of people with college degree's do not end up in the field they have the degree in. What do you think?

but it's all good, because I enjoy what I'm doing now...which is as little as possible. ha, ha...

My Major is in International Business. I'm working in International Marketing for the moment and it is what I've always wanted. Now if they'd only give me the job ....

I am not working yet, and still studying. But we will see, as I can still opt for many directions. I would not be surprised, if I became something completely different than a psychologist though.

My major is Geology, i really hope to be able to do it after school. I wana do research for the oil Co's, they pay the best and i get paid for hiking through the mountains looking for natural resources etc... I can't even imagine a better job than that!! However, i'll prolly wind up working on a drilling rig. I'm also pursuing a Chemistry minor, so maybe i could do something in that field if my Geology stuff dosen't work out.

Sometimes I think people should wait a few years before going to college. People like you who wait until their later 20's to chose a career usually love what they pick as a career and follow it through. Only when a person is 18-19 years old are they perhaps not sure what they want to do with the rest of their life and get pushed into picking a major they may not want to do at all.
