I Love Country Music! I remember working Retail with a super great Boss and we'd come to work at 7:00 a.m. I used to balance the tills and get them ready for the day, and he would just be doing stuff that Bosses do! Well, he'd turn up the Country Music full blast and it was such great, great fun working with him. Of course, once the store opened, we had to put on a lighter station because that's the way it is with Retail. Those are such great memories for me!
Merika, let's be brave and come out of the Closet!

Actually...I like all kinds of music....including the opera my daughter loves. I like jazz, R & B and most anything else other than Rapp..which isn't music period.
But there is a part of me which understands the concept of COuntry......and nothing compares to it. It's just HOME for me.

There's this one song by some dude that goes "Some bi**h, somewhere" in the chorus that's awesome. It's all about a bad day and I can't remember anymore of it, but everyone can relate to it. It's hilarious.

When my heart hurts...I can admit Country doesn't clear it.....it only makes it more cloudy......but GAWD....they have some good stuff.
I can cry like a 'summabitch' over alot of it.

Never heard of it - I live right across the river from Detroit now. They don't know what country music is.

I actually know which one you are talking about and don't know the name.
My favorite has got to be 'Prop Me Up Against The Jukebox When I'm Gone' and "Thank God In Greyhound Your GOne'...... that's just funnny as hell......but it's more than true when you feel that way about someone.

Country barely exists over here. Nothing to be sung about :?

It's what you're associating the music with that plays a huge role also. We have a Romanian band who's playing country music and I know that they had a lot of success back home. But I can't say I listen to it, it's too far, a tad too American, .
I like Shania Twains and the guy who sings "Acky Breaky Heart  huge hit home also.
I'm a fan of Sheryl Crow too.
