Default Confessions, good or bad... and when?

Hey guys, long time no see. Now this may not be the right forum for this, but I had a question to ask that I've given some thought.

When is confessing to something that you did wrong foolish or unnecessary. Would you correct it by not confessing but just trying to undo what you did or just stop doing it... and what if it was something so small that you probably shouldn't feel guilty. I'm talking about those situations where people think you're an idiot because you confessed something that they don't see is a big deal in the first place.

Well, aside from that, looks like the forums are still alive and kickin'. I've just been hanging out like my usual self. I don't know if I said before, but I no longer work Produce at Publix. (Sorry Merika, no more vegetable sprinkler fun ) Instead, while I look for something new, I've went back to dishwashing, since it's an easy job to get.

I would say that if confessing to something is only going to lead to bad feelings, then you may want to think twice about doing it. Of course, I'm assuming you're not referring to cheating on a mate here or doing something that directly or indirectly hurt someone. If that is the case then I think it's best to "fess up" no matter how hard it may be.

Don't be uncomfortable being perceived as a fool.

What others may deem unnecessary is perhaps necessary for you. Likewise, if you have a habit of secretly eating peanut-butter, and the whole world makes no big deal out of such behavior, then confessing is pointless.

Ditto!

Confession IS good for the Soul! I do it because it gives me peace, no matter what people think or how big/small it is! If it feels bad inside, confess! Only then do I get peace...

What is this guilt thing you speak of?

Ever heard the phrase don't ask, don't tell?
