Default Collecting

What kinds of things do you collect and how old were you when you started? Why was this hobby important to you?

Beer bottle tops. You could play with them, pretending they were huge barrels and such (with an awesome crane I had). Must have been 6 years old or so, if not younger.

Other than that I don't collect that much.

I collected "Oprah" magazines, right from the first issue. Also "Diet and Exercise" magazines until they overtook my extra space, then I gave them away to my friends. Now I'm smart, I read them at the Library!

No magazines for me. I am a bit obsessive with music. If I like an artist, I will collect everything they made.

I also had most of the Stephen King books. LOVED "The Stand" and "The Green Mile", so many others, too!

I used to love reading Stephen King until I heard "The Shining" was one of his least favorite movie renditions. I also heard he was a bit of a jerk in real life plus his writing was pretty much the same in all of his more recent books.

LOVE "The Shining" and also his philanthropy!

Stephen King - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I guess he's either loved or disliked immensely!
