I was going to post inbetween getting Chloe ready to head off to the airport for the obligatory 2 hours check advance check in. Since she is only 15, they don't do the phone check in the same way.

As it is though, my mind can't go in that many directions. LOL! I won't be back until really late. Her plane boards at 8:40 pm. I'll stay at the airport until it gets safely off the ground. I live about 3-4 hours from the airport in Orlando.

I'll post tomorrow morning.....as Chloe and Meanon meet. They have so many fun things planned. I wish I were going!

HAve a nice trip, Chloe! MErika, she'll behave, not to worry! It'll be interesting to see how you take your daughter being gone to another continent for a while

Chloe ended up with a light flight (probably only 1/5 full)...so she got a whole row to herself! She was even able to pull up all the arm rails and sleep. Meanon called me from the airport this morning and all was well.

Her older brother bought her a brand new digital camera/web cam for the trip....so I should be getting some great internet pics.

Yes Twinks, it's too bad where Meanon is located in in northern England...or you guys could meet up. They talked about going to Paris early on....but it's just too much of an additional expense. Chloe's ticket tot he UK alone cost me an arm and a leg...not to mention she just HAD to have all new clothes....like anyone in the UK had ever seen her old ones.....HAHA!

How long is she going for merika? This is such a great opportunaity for her to see that part of the world. She'll have a load of fun i'm sure!

A month. She will come back a week before school starts here...which is Aug 8th this year. I am also hoping this will help Meanon out as far as child care and divert the girl's attention after the divorce and move. I hope it ends up being a good situation for all concerned.

school ever start early in the states. Kassandra's last day of school is wednesday then it starts back up again the day after labor day in the beginning of september. It can be anywhere from the 3rd to the 7th of sept. i don't have a calendar handy at the moment so i don't know.

That would suck to start school in august. That's the heart of summertime! wow!

They got out of school here the early part of May. I don't know why they changed the original June-August summer vacation months in Florida. Maybe because many Floridians take their vacation in May when it's still a little cooler and gives all the local attractions to have room for them and all the later summer tourist. Not sure.

I should have a photo galler installed shortly so we can upload all the pictures if you like. I had some issues with my new webhost account (I completely screwed the darned thing up) so I need them to reset everything to day one before I can monkey around on it. I must be the biggest n00b webmaster the world has ever seen :oops:
