Default Book 6 of Harry Potter/ JK Rowlings new book

I give up! Please let me know if I'm double posting some of the topics already covered! I've read, and read, and read and still haven't covered all the interesting topics, responses, laughs and ideas shared by you all.

With the new Harry Potter book coming out, I'll have to "budget" my time better on this Website, but I want you to know Harry Potter will be second, this will be first.

Buying the Harry Potter books started out to be a gift to my wonderful granddaughter, but after reading the first one, I just had to read them all! Did any of you adults read them and if so, are you anxiously awaiting the new book which is either out as I type this or will be out shortly.

Unfortunately, Star, I only saw the first movie! I was meaning to see all of them, I've a list of movies I'm supposed to see with co-workers telling me I should be seeing this one or that one, and then questioning me when I haven't. I want to see "The Notebook" so badly, how long has that been out already?
So maybe one of these weekends, probably in the fall or winter, I'll have a marathon "Harry Potter" festival by myself and see them all!

It's funny, but Harry Potter does little in the way of interest my daughter. I think she prefers the boox over the movies though.

kassandra has no interest whatsoever with harry potter either. :?

I saw the notebook twice. when you do watch that one, make sure you have a big box of kleenes handy because it's a tear jerker. it's an excellent movie, a must see.

I am not a particular fan of fantasy writing / movies. There are but a few minor exceptions to that rule.

We have Harry Potter for Prime Minister. That is bad.

That's too funny!

My daughter LOVES Harry Potter. She is all excited that she will be purchasing the book through Meanon in the UK....rather than having to wait for it to come out here. Both kids wouldn't miss any of the movies...but she is the one who counts the months and days for a new one to come out. She also reads each one at least twice.

Feel free to weep. He does not even do any magic tricks.

This picture is actually not as bad as most others.

Vautrin.....I don't know who the person in the pic is.

Luba....you can revamp old threads or make a new thread on an old topic. We don't mind a bit....keeps it interesting.

Star....I think the new HP movie is due to come out this October....but I'm not 100% sure.

That is the Dutch Prime Minister Balkenende.

Often referred to as Harry Potter by ordinary citizens. In the past the similarities were even a bit more pronounced.

I don't know if he likes to look like Harry Potter or not. Probably not. He does not like if there are jokes made about members of the Royal family. He seems to be challenged humor-wise.
