I'll be back to post in a little bit....but I HAD to share! Babies are just so beautiful and when they are yours....they take your breath away. Chloe and I cried. This was right after she was born yesterday.

She is gorgeous!! Congratulations to all of you! It's very emotional to have your own babies born and even more so when it's your grandchild. It's all so breathtaking. Enjoy your brand new little grand-daughter.

She has quite a bit of brown hair....but you can't see it due to the fashionable baby sock over her head. I swear they look the same in color as they did 25 years ago! You would think someone would come up with a nicer design. LOL!

LMAO!! my kids and Erika all had that same sock like hat on their head when they were born too. I kept erika's in a keepsake box.

She's a beautiful little baby merika. her face is so perfect. there are no flaws there. I bet she's the prettiest baby in the whole hospital right now!

The rule of thumb with newborns is.....if you think they are the most beautiful baby in the whole wide world....then you are either the parent or the grandparent. HAHA!

Having a baby c-section though....does cut down on the stress and squishing of their face and head. After the first few days though....they all look basically the same.....only YOURS is the most special.

Actually, she looks more like her Mom at this time....but you can bet NannyB will be looking for her OWN traits (physcial and character) as time goes by.

you're right about the c-section. the babies come out perfect with no flaws. Erika's head was perfectly shaped with no cone or pear to it because krystal had the c-section too.

I found a trait in erika that's mine. her eyebrows are what we call "the cote eyebrows". everyone on my dad's side of the family including me and my brothers and my cousins all have the same eyebrows and erika's got them too!! it's sooooo cool when you see a trait that's yours! My kids don't have my eyebrows so it's extra cool!!

don't know about her character yet but she is only 7 months old. LOL!

enjoy her merika! i'm enjoying erika a lot more then i did my own kids! being a gramma rocks!!!

Eventually you'll see a bit of everyone in the kid, for now all newborns look like pink raisins IMHO. Saying their cute is just silly.

that just must be a guy thing (hubby and my brothers say that very same thing) because i don't think all babies look alike at all. they all look different to me and I can usually tell if they look like mom or dad.

I think they look more like little frogs naked then a raisin. LOL! they're big bellies and short arms and legs...soooooo cute! I think babies are the cutest when they get to be around 4 to 6 months. they're just funny and they make you laugh with all the cute little things and faces they do.

Erika licks her lips and has that "sour" look to her lips when she's eating her fruits. I laugh everytime she does it. it's the cutest thing!
