I swore at the tv last night and turned it off as soon as chris got voted off. It is in my personal opinion that whoever voted needs to have their brains checked as Katherine McPhee had her worst week and should of been the one getting the boots. Chris by far has the best stage presence, the best vocals and the most integrity - he refused to change and remained himself.

All in all, I'm done watching american idol.

I was shocked and upset that he got voted off too! I couldn't believe the public voted him off!! that guy could sing anything! he was awesome! I thought for sure katherine was going to be voted off.

I was in shock and I think the 3 up front were jsut as shocked!

I'm behind Taylor 100%. I really liked Chris though and thought it would be him and Taylor in the finals....

Ok, I'm still anti american idol because I truly believe it is rigged - but I do feel a little better now.

Remember when he sang Hemmorage by Fuel? Well, it looks like he will be their new lead singer. This is great news, as Fuel kicks arse and I believe he has a better voice then the old lead singer. GO CHRIS!

I'll buy that cd when it comes out for sure.

I don't know whether it is rigged or not. What group(s) makes the most calls to vote?
You can get voted off for the most bizarre reasons or combinations thereof - whether it is religious stance, political stance, and what not.

We had the premiere worldwide for "Idols" so we have a bit of experience with "rigging" theories in that show.

Here is my theory on who wins American Idol. I think they do let things just kinda flow for a while and let the votes decide. I do think that if they see things are going a direction they dislike..I.E. an unmarketable person may win...I think they do change the direction it's going.

I think Chris is going to be awesome with Fuel. I'll pick it up when they put out their first CD.

I'll definately get Taylor's CD also.

What happened to the winners of the earlier edition(s)? Over here they are almost completely obscure again. :?

They disappeared off the face of the planet - all except Kelly Clarkson.

Carrie Underwood is real hot in the Country Charts. Both of those girls have excellent talent and great careers ahead of them. The Rueben guy put out a few sappy love songs that ended up on those multi-artist CD's. I don't think the rest ever went much beyond their original claim to fame on AI.

I liked Chris too....but when you get down to 4 people or even way more....somebody has got to go even if they are very very talented. I don't think it's rigged. It depends on what demographics are taking the time to vote. I watch the show and have NEVER voted..but there are 13 year old girls who vote religiously. Therefore, the person I am rooting for may or may not win. It really isn't even a 'best talent' issue at that point.

I think once they get down to the final 12...they are always tremendously talanted young people. I'm always very impressed.

Even if they would not succeed in the US, they could come over and sing here.

Dutch is completely optional, interviews are filled with so much English that you could manage to use only 3 non-English words. And if they can actually sing - that is anything better than shrieking - they are bound to be the most talented :?

My husband loves them, too....they've got a few good songs in my opinion, but I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to their music...

I never thought about it until I read the above statement...their songs do stay on the brain a long time after the song is done...right now as I'm getting ready for work "Fernando" is on my brain...I hope it doesn't stay there all day, it too will drive me crazy...
