Acceptable time for drinking?
How soon in the day do you think it's okay for someone to start drinking?

That's a tough one, first you have to establish what time is the cut off time from the night before.
Around here it seems to be 11 AM or 12 PM, unless of course your golfing then 7 AM is perfectly acceptable.

Humm... in France this is a weird question. No, they don't drink at breakfast, but they do drink several bottles of wine at lunch. And I don't mean during the week ends.
For instance, at our company's restaurant, you have beer and wine to buy if you feel like having alcohol with your lunch.
Here there's also a law that allows you to certain percentage of alcohol in your blood and drive.
So it really does depend on the country.

If it's booze yes, if it's sprayed into a baggy and worn over your head then no.

I think it's 0,5 g/l now, but in 1998 it was 0,8 g/l, just like in the UK.
In Sweden it's 0,2 g/l, I have no idea about the States.
The thing is, given that France is such a big producer and cosummer of wine, it may be dumb to say it, but people are reluctant to completely prohibit alcohol when driving for fear that it'll effect the wine industry.

I don't know what that is. I wouldn't mind Bailey's with my coffee in the morning.....but then I wouldn't get anything else done the rest of the day.
