2005 Taxes

Seeing as how it is the 15th you should know what your return looks like. How did you guys fair?

I got back $390 from federal + state

Haven't done mine in 3 years, sent in my 2002 & 2003 a month ago, that's over $1200 return. 2004 is about $600+ return but I'm waiting on the others to get back before I send that one in, need a number for my RRSP info first.

I haven't filed yet and sat on last years as well (not sure why). All together I should get back anywhere between $2500 and $3500.

my mom works for H&R block so always max out returns...i didnt work so i get 0, i also paid 0

I get my return done at H&R block done as well but I'll be filing my own returns again next year or finding someone else. I think H&R block has become just a little too pricey over the past few years.

They have, I do my own, sick of getting paying to much for so little work in the past. They're really easy to do anyway, it only takes about a half hour and it's done for the year.

we never get anything back. we always owe. darn gov always taking our hard earned money.

i used to get them done at h&r but i agree, they are way too pricey and they don't always get everything they can for you. I get my sister in law to do mine. I've already filed. mine were sent in last month.

yeah H&R block isnt perfect, most of them are not that good, my mom is one of the best in her area.

I've been satisfied with them simply because my tax returns are always quite high but that will come to an end this year which is why I don't feel like stuffing their pockets anymore.
