Now that we have a few possible alternatives on how to structure the resource, the question I have is how do we build it?

There's no question that will have to build this resource in stages but how do we go about deciding what stage to do and when?

In your opinion, is it better to start at Issues beginning with A and work our way through the letter and then the alphabet or is it better to map out A - Z in rough form and add the content one item at a time?

I think I'll also revise my previous estimate because there's no way this will all be done in 2 years time, prolly more like 4 or 5.

That kind of depends on if you want to start with Main Categories first, add sub categories and then the issues. I think an outline form starting with Main Categories first and then filling in the sub categories and finally adding the issues. If we can define the main categories well enough now we can add the rest starting at A and working down. Just a thought.

I agree with tkdlady. Sometimes the needed resources are not hard to come by - and why would we let it go to waste then? Flexibility is important too.

I fully agree guys, I guess the depth of this project has hit me today and I realized that my targets were completely mis-aligned. I'm not above admitting I need help with this resource as it is a huge undertaking and thank you all for your valuable input!

So I guess this means we need to finish identifying A - Z prior to doing anything on the physical wiki?

Is it hard to move things around once they are in place? I only ask because we could define the main categories and insert or delete as necessary unless you would rather finish the alphabet first.

I guess it is better to identify main issues first. Then we can physically work on the content. So what if we "forget" a category or issue like retroactive jealousy. We can always add such a category if it is deemed necessary when we think of it.

Even if it is incomplete we are building the wiki structure.

True enough, build the skeleton first then focus on adding meat to the bones.

I can always manipulate files/pages regardless of when/where by just messing around in the database.
