I am FURIOUS right now, I'm actually shaking with rage - and I never get angry...pissed off, yes, but not angry. Angry is very bad for me.

I just got torn a new one by Richard the VP here cause I was following procedure and wouldn't accept something from Lisa that was blatently done wrong. Office door open, definate raised voice... Basically I should be accepting ****ty items according to him. I can't comprehend writing right now, I just want to put his tiny little pinhead through the drywall. AAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Oh freak. As your job description says nothing about quality control, I'd be considering alternative ways of doing your job.

What about going the pace of the rest of the office? Slacking off for two or three days, just as Lisa does? If they think Lisa is up to standard, then you are justified in being on the same standard level.

Bloody idiots. One way to get rid of good people is letting people who don't know their left hand from their right get away with it.

I could never do what they do. My room might be a mess, my life might be alright but my job is where I take my pride. I go to work and do the best that is physically possible. Then this sh*t happens and pisses me off. I honestly believe nothing will change here and it's time to clean house, vp included - as he is the one that allows all this to happen.

I'm just tired of it and feel defeated more and more often, and that's not a good feeling when you love your job.

I understand. I consider it a bad day when I am doing less than what I am capable of.

Perhaps apply across the street, and hand in your resignation (well motivated, of course). If they don't want to sort themselves out, why bother doing their work for them?

I've sent a copy of the email interaction between myself and Lisa to Randy in Calgary. I've explained the situation, and how I have to deal with this on a daily basis (the shoddy work).

I ended the email asking why I bother to follow procedure and try to make sure everything is done correctly, when I'll just get in trouble for it.

We'll see what comes of it. I still can't believe Richard (the vp here) thinks that they are above policies & procedures because they are such a small office... That's the most rediculous thing I have ever heard.

I think I'll wait and watch Randy do it. He's already not happy with this office. I hope today was the breaking point, cause I really do like my job, but I hate working with idiots. Thanks for the offer though lol

Maybe Lisa and Richard are having a thing together and he doesn't want his girl stressed!! I am sorry you are working with buttheads Weiser. I know the feeling. Fortunately they aren't all in positions of power where I work. I hope Randy helps you. Good luck and keep us informed of your situation.

So I talked to Rachel for a long time tonight and one of the things we talked about was what happened today. She was pretty much speechless and shocked. When I told her how Richard ripped into me she couldn't believe it. I asked her what should I do and she just said I really need to call Randy tomorrow and let him know exactly what happened because that is unacceptable. She brought up a very vaild point that not even 2 weeks ago when I was in Calgary Randy was saying that I am pretty much the top employee in operations aside from mgmt, and that why should I even be here in Toronto if I can't do what I was sent here to do. She also said that if they were in her department she would have fired them, which made me feel a little better

I honestly hope I can get ahold of him tomorrow, because I really, really need to talk to him. I think I might even bring up the fact about the 2 girls being late every single day (honestly, since I started here in March I've seen one of the girls on time once and the other maybe 10 times max). I really don't want to because I'll feel like I'm just complaining for the sake of complaining, but they walk around like their sh*t don't stink and they get away with murder cause Richard allows it.

I really don't know how much more I can take here - and with the turn over rate in our company being so high, I know I am a valued asset. I shouldn't have to put up with this crapola.

I'm going to bed now, I'm just drained...

Oh yeah, one of the other things we talked about was Vegas. Looks like Randy will be partying with us lol, his wife is going on a vacation somewhere with the girls so he's going to come with us, this will be hilariously and awesomely fun.
