went on an interview
I went on an interview today to work for Dell tech support, i had to take a test for pre screening and i passed so i should have a 2nd interview soon. They are hiring 1500 new people, so i think my chances are pretty good. They pay pretty well also.

no, but from what i read it will be a seperate business unit and will stay in miami. My job would be with server support. Im still not sure what my salary will be, i put 25K and the lady told me to buump it up and i made it 35, but i think its still low by maybe 10,000, so ill have to see if they offer me a job after my next interview and for how much.

Will you be located in the Oklahoma City area? That's such a good clean place to raise kids. My oldest son some of his school years growing up in Broken Arrow...outside of Tulsa. I loved that place. I have no idea why I ended up moving back to Florida.

Congratulations DA. It sounds like a decent job, and hopefully you will love it. And make certain you get paid properly, and not a dime too little .

Agreed! That's a really beautiful place to raise a family for sure! You can buy a great house there for a fraction of other cities of the same size.

well i got a call from them and i have my 2nd interview on monday with a manager. Im nervous about whether or not i have enough knowledge for the job. a written test is one thing but an oral one is harder...but if i can do well ill get the job and be trained on more specific stuff.

Good luck with the second interview.
Even if you would not have enough knowledge for the job now, your diploma's prove you can be taught a lot, so I would expect no problem even then; unless they consider you overqualified.
You'll do great.
