I would make food that actually tastes good, instead of tasting like cardboard.

OMG i never noticed that before, their food does taste like cardboard dosen't it!!
As for the McDonalds i would fire all the Illegal Mexicans and hire someone who speaks english. Do you have any idea what i have to go through in this town just to order a hamburger, Just utterly frustrates me to no end!!!

The only downside to firing all illegal Mexicans, is that the food becomes twice as expensive. Which would ruin McDonals completely.

If your crew can't understand the boss, you lose your quality control. In the long run I dont believe it's all that more efficient..

Just get a bilingual boss. For a nickle an hour more than absolute minimum wage, that should be possible.
Quality control and McDonalds are two opposed terms already.

I doubt they would have too many illegal aliens working in places like McDonalds. It's just too regulated. I don't know though....they busted a chain of Chinese resturaunts in our city for that about 2-3 weeks ago.
BTW: I've always wondered how they get by not hiring whites and blacks....since there are laws regarding percentages.

When I was a kid, like 100 years ago, McDonalds had great food. I think it was sometime in the 70's that they developed a taste extracting machine and made everything tasteless.

I don't think having any employee that doesn't understand or speak english in an english country is any good for any business. They should send them to take an english course before putting them behind a counter or making them deal with customers. that to me is bad business. frustrating customers just won't come back.
what would i change about a mcdonalds if i had that power?
-make EVERYONE wear gloves while cooking, serving or working with any food.
nothing more gross then watching an employee scratch his ear or his nose then puts your food in the bag. disgusting!!
Be more organized in the sense that designated people will do the cleaning only. not have them all clean and cook and serve food at the same time.

If I were the boss? I would close the place down, and see the local mortality rates plummet.
The worst thing that could happen to me is an angry mob outside, in desperate need for donor organs - and having decided that I would be the volunteer, since I am the person responsible for this sudden shortage in the first place. I would be skinned alive .

I really like McDonalds
I agree with Star in that they could surely do the 'glove thing'.... Wendy's does. I think the prob is that they just pay so LOW until few people want to work there.....even as a manager.

my niece worked at mcdonalds before she went to univerity. in fact, she worked there for pretty much her whole high school years and she loved it. she said she was treated very well.
one thing mcdonalds is is flexible. they will work around a student's hours and will try not to overwork them. they pay no more then minimum wage (which is, i think $7.45 an hour here) but they do treat their staff with respect.
It happened to us one time. we're sitting at the take out window waiting for our food and the guy serving us was scratching his ear and nose. it was disgusting and he had no glves on. we were totally grossed out. that shouldn't be allowed.
I like mcdonalds too.

I'd rather let myself be used for medical research than work for McDonalds. Which is a medical experiment anyway.
I have attempted McDonalds once, and the food was so terrible, that I still commonly refer to the company as McPoison.

the food itself taste different in different countries. I don't like the taste of mcdonalds in the states but i like it here in canada. the sauces taste completely different. so does everything else for that matter.
maybe in your country it really taste bad.
