Promotion

ive got an interview tonight (9pm GMT) for a promotion, could get me an extra £5000 a year which would come in really useful

im terrible at interviews. and i got my manager to go thru a test run of it last night at work. but im still terrified of it. im so nervous its ridiculous. but i cant help it :/
11 hours to go...

i need to get some sleep i guess

Sleep and eat well. And don't stress it. Interviews are noone's hobby (at least not when it refers to a job). You'll do fine GG.

interview went well i think, i was a lot more relaxed and stuff, tho i didnt get any sleep so i was very tired!

just gotta wait and see what happens now theres 3 positions going and i think 6 of us applying so will have to wait another week or so before i find out!

I didnt get the promotion. apparently if there had been another position i would of got it, but i was up against people who had been there a minimum of 8 years...ive only been there 8 months... so expericance beat me sadly.

i'll keep trying tho. a bit of a dissapointment i really wanted it. but i was even up against my mum in the end who stepped down from a manager. and well yeah. not the easiest compeition.

im trying to stay positive. i think when i get back home (still on holiday atm) it'll hit me more. but i'll have to see what happens i guess

You know, GG, you should be proud of yourself anyway. To be up for a promotion in such a short time is such a Tribute to you, really! It shows you are a GREAt worker and are held in high regard. I would be celebrating anyway!

I'm with you on interviews as well. Wish it was the same where I'm currently volunteering.
