Default my wonderful day

I am back,I have been so busy.I like my new bosses and it started today. My boss retired last week, his last day was Friday and I know he is enjoying his retirement very well.We did have a party for him Saturday and it was very emotional for him.My new bosses, his son and daughter treat me the same and I get along with them really well.We have a shop dog at work,my dog Zoe and she does get spoiled a lot.My dog is a very spoiled rotten black lab,she gets 2 or 3 dog biscuits a day from customers and she loves dog biscuits. My co workers make sure the antifreeze is properly stored so she cannot get into it.This happened 3 weeks ago and Zoe has been a great shop dog so far.Zoe lays by my toolbox on an old blanket. She gets attention from little kids and loves that too.I did a couple oil changes and one transmission fluid change. One customer was glad I told her about a leak on her 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan right away during an oil change. The water pump was leaking, was told to replace it knowing she was going on a trip next week and did not need a break down on the trip.I had a very cheap customer, did an oil change on his truck and told him that he had a leaking brake line.He told me not to fix it and drove it that way.He did finaly lose his brakes, replaced the brake line and had a hard time to bleed the system. My new bosses are just like their father, very caring people.

Great to see you back. And great to see you get along well with your new bosses. A change of management / bosses can be hard to cope with for everyone.

As for the cheap customer, it was to be expected that the brakes would fail to function. You warned him beforehand, so he will be hardpressed to blame it on the garage.

Great to see you back!

Thanks and I also check out one of my new cars out to inspect,a 1983 Chevy Monte Carlo that I bought on Saturday for $800.00.I found out I do like the car and I have plans doing some things to the car in Jaunuary rebuilding the engine, redoing the exhaust.Someone cobbled up the exhaust and it is a mess.I did write the leaking brake line on the sheet checking for leaks, any safety related Items and I do this on every oil change I do.
