My day at work

My day at work went very well yesterday.I was promoted as safety supervisor and I do keep job as mechanic too.I knew I wanted to be a mechanic at age 14,I loved turning wrenches at the time.I recieved my first set of tools at age 17 on my 17th birthday.My boss was geting sick and tired of all the falls because of messes not cleaned up resulting in injuries.I am the only one that cleans up right away after I make a mess and my boss sees that.I do wipe off my tools off too and put them away.My boss knew I was right person for this position since I am safety minded.My record is clean except for one injury that was not my fault,I had one knee injury last yearwhich required surgery because someone dropped a floor jack on it.It did hurt and I was off for 7 weeks of work.the guy was losing grip while holdig the jack and it fell on my left knee.I felt it,Iwas on a creeper under a car when this happened and it did hurt.

My boss is thinking of giving me raise sometime next week.my boss knows this is going to save money big time in the long run having me as the safety supervisor.My boss and I already discussed the policy already,1st time: a verbal warning 2nd time:a discussion with the boss and the third one:sent home to think about it.the guy whom dropped the floor jack on my left knee was fired two weeks later because he wasted his money on cheap throw away tools that he broke a lot with no warranties and came in late way too much.my boss has been good finding tool venders that sell tools with a warranty if they break.I have my day off today and Wendsdays are my day off.My boss likes me,I come in on time at 9:00 sharp

My boss knows I deserve the raise and may give it to me tommorrow.I recieved a phone call from him today while I was changing the oil in my 2005 Mini Cooper this afternoon at home and doing a check over so I can get it on the road from Winter storage.I hopefully to drive it to work tommorrow if the weather is good.

I did get the raise today and I am very happy.I do love my new position as safety supervisor.I warned a couple people for safety reasons.I knew something was up while I was building my boss's Chevy 350 engine for a concept vehicle he is building from scratch.He told me I did get the raise.

No,I do not build custom concept vehicles and I do not have time for that.My boss has been good to me and knows I am a very good safety supervisor.I caught one not wearing safety glasses when useing the bench grinder and one trying to grind something small,holding it with his two fingers which is dangerous on the bench grinder.I told the guy to use a pair of pliers to hold that piece,which he finally did.I am going to beat late to work,I have two doctors appointments today at 10:00 and 11:00 and my boss knows about it after I told him yesterday.My boss toldcme to take care of them and get backI have not finished building my bosse's engine yet and it will be done today,top end has to be done,that is all I have to do
