Re: To move or not to move...
A bit of bad news, we don't know if the current tennants re-signed the lease or not, and won't find out for 2 weeks when Jule's dad gets back from Japan. Right now he's pretty hard to get in contact with. Fingers crossed that they didn't re-sign.
As for the Rachel thing, it sucks, but that's life.

Re: To move or not to move...
no dice on the penthouse condo - atleast for the immediate future - so now i am scrambling to find a place and I can't be picky either as I have a whopping 4 days to find one....this is so not cool.
and yeah, there has been no shortage of partying. I think out of the 17 days I have been here, I have gone out drinking or for drinks 10 of those days lol. this weekend is my sisters birthday too, PLUS i am shooting a commercial that if chosen would be shown for the '08 summer games. gonna be a crazy weekend.

Re: To move or not to move...
Thanks, I have my fingers crossed. I found one yesterday that I am going to be looking at tonight after work. Right next to the police HQ, in a highrise condo. 2 bedroom for $1400 a month. Wish me luck!

Wish you luck!
I hope the difference in salary is not fully negated by that amount.

Re: To move or not to move...
so, that 2 bedroom was originally a 1 bedroom. the owner decided to throw up a wall and make the living room literally 5'x8' and the other bedroom TINY...I don't know if I have it yet, I'll find out tomorrow...but I'm getting rather desperate at the moment - if I didn't have to be out april 1st I wouldn't care so much cause I could just keep looking but ugh this is annoying. And yeah that 1400 a month would of eaten up my raise.

Re: To move or not to move...
Ok I am no longer homeless.
Got a place in the Annex (a GOOD trendy part of the city) that is full of victorian style houses. I'm about a 10 minute walk from my sister's place which is pretty cool (I never in my life thought I would ever say that lol). It's a 3 storey 4 bedroom house. I have the very top rather large room and I have 3 roommates. 1 guy and 2 girls. One girl is from Vancouver and the other is from Austrailia(and shes blonde and hot....bad frank bad). They all seem super super cool. | |
