Default If It Was a Do-Over...

what career would you choose if your parents had enough saved to put you through college or University?

My Dad always wanted me to be a school teacher and I would have loved that, working with little children. Sadly, he only had a Grade One education and never really learned to read.. he was great with numbers, though! We were very poor so there wasn't any money for college or university...

My parents did save, and originally I was going to be a cop. My eyes sucked too much so I went for business / marketing. Never used it though and now I have a great job that I love, so I guess it all worked out.

I am not sure. My mom didn't have money so I put myself through college. I guess I am still not sure what I want to be when I grow up.

It wasn't money that lead me down the road I'm on, it was lack of decision making skills to actually define a career interest. I think this is the main reason for me sticking with a dead-end job, I don't know what else to do.

Of course now I've finally figured out that I want to try and market some of my own product ideas so I guess better late than never.

To answer your question money was never the issue, direction and self-discipline, or lack thereof, was.
