How Do You React to Constructive Criticism

at Work? With friends? With family? Do you take it personally or do you think about it, learn from it and use it for your betterment?

I am always open for constructive criticism at work. I can't stand it though, when someone whose work is not up to standard, throws random complaints at me.

That happens a lot to co-workers; because it just makes the sub-standard worker feel better when putting someone else down.

My biggest problem at work are those that comment on the way I did something and say "well if it was me I would have done it this way". It wasn't they way they like it so they have to try to "fix" it I guess.
