I think I can safely say I am not a talker at work. I do talk on occasion but not very often. There is one woman I work with who no one likes and everyone has a standing order to interrupt if she is talking to them.

i never shut up during the breaks. and i sing while i work.
so yup i talk at work! Thing is no-one seems to mind too much, some of them said they love it when i sing as i work because they all join in now and it makes them much more lively and the place more fun and relaxed (not sure the bosses like this too much) but we all sing along and dance around like crazy people....if only the day managers watched the camera recordings in the mornings they'd have a heart attack! |

So when he would show us how something is done, we'd be doing it and he would sing. He sang so many old songs; from Bobby Darin, Perry Como, Dean Martin, and I even printed out the words for "You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groban. While he wasn't totally familiar with the song, he got the Chorus down pat, and when he sang it, I got all teary-eyed, it was so beautiful! That was SUCH a great week! |

I don't even have to read the article to know I talk too much at work. I'm either insulting people or bitching about how stupid our company is run (as is virtually everyone else with half a brain).

Ah, no not really. I talk, but not tons. A girl I work with never shuts up though, and is quite loud. To her I am just a big jerk with a soft side, so when I ask her "if she ever shuts up", she does - but doesn't take it too seriously.
I do work in an office full of girls though, so basically I just throw on my tunes and do my own thing, with a side of flirting with the girl that sits next to me. It's funny, I work with stocks and bonds all day while listening to mudvayne, soad, OLD metallica, rise against, tool, etc etc (or my techno). It's especially loud at 8am  Time to wake up girls. |
