In a career crossroads
/Sigh////////////////// :?
I am always in such a mess,, I barowed money from the Gregster for the hot dog cart and am SUPPOSED to start it Friday, but in the meantime I have applied for a few select jobs and I think I could possibly get atleast 2 of them and I don't know WTF to do!!!
job #1 is at a Bank, I would be a Financial Services Associate work bankers hours and has WONDERFUL benifits, and is close to home, it only pays 30K a year with very little comissions I am talking like 1.5% I have my 2nd interview tomarrow they are very aggressivly getting this ball rolling. I do have to obtain my series 6 license for this position but I am sure I could pass that now.
Job #2 is at Edward Jones, it is a more High Profile job, more hours but ALOT more compensation the average broker makes 125K a YEAR!!!! and the company sends you and the faimly on 1 vacation a year if sales goals are meet, and these are vacations like Switzerland, Hong Kong, Greenland, ect... I would have to leave the kids ALOt and do all of my own Sales and Marketing, Sales doesn't intimidate me but I want to be here for the kids, but with that kind of dough I'll hire a personal nanny or grandma. I've told them that i have other job offers and they say "the interviewing process is verry selective, we are extreamly intrested in considering you for this opportunity please be patient with us"
Job #3 would be Hot Dog cart and keeping my little Insurance job, this gives me flexibility, cash and can work from 10-3 on a little island in the sun. BUT I would not be fullfilled at all.
I know I must keep in mind that I am only 25, job #2 will always be there but it's what I really want. I just have a problem jumping into things without REALLY thinking into the long term...
Thoughts>???? Sorry about the novel :?

If I were you I would take #2.
With that extra money you can get the best care for Noah, you'll have stability and a challenge.

And hire Weiser as the (illegal) babysitter with benefits. Should do the trick
But seriously, how much money could you save, if you took option #2?

Weiser and stone should not be put near each other, otherwise they might disppear for a month or so, i mean a sexually starved women+weiser=a lot of time in bed.
anyway back on topic, take job 2, if you dont aim for the stars now, you will regret it later, besides i need some stock tips, lol.

I see DA has you BOTH pegged! HAHAHAHA!
I don't know Stone. I'm the kind of person that would make the wrong choice and do the hot dog thing because it's fun and would leave your life totally flexible. I like living on the edge..............

Stone, you simply could have asked for physical evidence (pics) to prove that Merika is correct about those qualities. And Weiser will be wondering ...

Get job number 1. If you work at a bank, you'll be able to:
a. get more diplomas, which will justify for a higher salary when you're older
b. have a secure job, and a steady income, no matter how the market evolves
c. you'd get to see your kids, educate them, be less stressed and have more time for yourself.
I think it's what you need for the moment. Plus, in France, if you work at a bank, they can give you credit for much less interest.
