Sounds like you need an extracurricular activity that lets you let off steam. I do Taekwondo and let me tell you I love it. I get very frustrated at work these days and when I go to class I feel so much better. And I get to punch big bags and sometimes other people!!!! Actually I don't let off steam with other people but I do when I am on the bags. You should try it or something like it.

I'm pretty interested in Tai Chi. I just feel guilty about spending money on myself when there's more important things to spend it on.

I think my problem is... I take everything internal and can't get mad at people. Even when they're yelling at me, I can't get mad. I blame the world's problems squarely on me.

RELEASE ME!

I think if I punched a bag, I'd be too busy apologizing to it, let alone a person to let off some steam.

. Try doing something else as tkdlady suggested. Sanity is the most important consideration here, not to mention your physical health. Join that Tai Chi class now!

There is nothing wrong with doing something for yourself. You're not planning on bankrupting your family are you? Spend a little money and time on yourself. Trust me, it will feel good. And it is okay to get mad at people. If they are friends they will understand and if they aren't then so what.

I think the idea they put you in a bad school district is cos you are so good at what you do they thought you could help turn it around and make it from 1 of the worst to 1 of the best. I don't know maybe I'm clutching at straws. And also maybe do a hobby/sport on weekends to cool your worries during the week.

I think you're right, Aaron. This was exactly their intention. No one wanted to handle this job.

I'm doing the best I can, with angry parents and con-artist students, it isn't easy.

I've been pacing the floor since 2 am this morning. Needless to say, my family is worried and annoyed by me right now.

Vautrin, I just can't release. I've barely slept all week.

I just wanted to say that my boss is awesome. I feel much better, I finally went to sleep for more than a few minutes.

This weekend has been a great time to relax, finally.

I think I was blaming myself for the situations that were happening... Then I realized, it wouldn't have mattered who was there, it would've happened anyway.

The support system here is great. You all keep me positive.

I'm sorry, IvyRose, that I haven't posted on this thread! I'm involved in my own matter right now and I'm quite upset with myself about it!

Anyway, about you, Ivy, you ABSOLUTELY need to look after yourself right now! You need to do what makes you happy and contented! This negative stuff happening is actually positive in a way, as it's making you look within to see what makes YOU happy and what YOU need!

Meditation will help you sleep, IMO! Writing in a journal about your feelings will make them come to light to be able to deal with whatever is going on in your life! I've been doing both for quite a while now and it's working for me. My current problem WILL be sorted out as I write and pray about it, I know! Plus focusing on the things you are grateful for helps so much!

I also believe you were chosen for this job for a reason! You will find out what that is as you go! You can do it! I wish you the very best!

This experience has made me appreciate how sweet my son is at 17 years old.
