I thought I'd welcome myself so Duke didn't think I was a SpamBot.

I've been reading the forum, trying to get a feel for everyone's personalities and such, so I've been lurking for a couple of days.

I'm a shy Boardie, so I probably won't write much. I do have to say that after reading for a couple of days that it is a refreshing change from other forums. I was beginning to wonder if there was a nice place anywhere on the InterNet. Even most so-called support forums are full of trolls poking sticks at people's real lives they've shared.

On that note, I hope you forgive me for not talking about myself just yet.

Sorry I'm such a Spambot Nazi but the forums have been inundated with these one post wonders and virtually all of it is of a nefarious nature.

You don't have to worry about us poking your life apart because that's not what we're here for. Our main goal is to give you a warm, familiar and friendly place to discuss issues important to you. If your looking for honest feedback, we'll give it; if you simply want to clear your chest without opinion, we'll keep our collective mouths shut and sympathize.

Think of us as a group of online family members; we all have our quirks but the one thing we have in common is that we all care about each other.

what i like about you already Ivy, (you dont mind me shortening your name do you?), is your sense of humor and approach to things here. I think its great you've taken the time out to familiarize yourself with people here first, im am sure you'll love this place and enjoy being part of our family as much as we all do
