Hi there, just thought I would pop on and answer your post here.....I have 2 children, a son who will be 32 in June and a daughter who will be 30 in August. I have 2 grandchildren, sorta....there is a grandson who will be 6 in September that we haven't seen since he was 6 months old (it's a long story) and a grandaughter (from our daughter) who will be 19 months old tomorrow. My daughter and her husband live in Wisconsin so we don't get to see them much. My husband still hasn't seen the baby except for on the web cam or in pics. I got to go and visit them for her first birthday back in July, and would love to go and see her again for her 2nd birthday but I don't think that will be possible. I have a niece who lives about 5 mins away that we raised since she was 5 and she has 2 children, a little boy who will be 3 in Sept, and a little girl who is 7 mos. today, we see them quiet often. Then there is her brother, our nephew, whom we also raised since he was 2, he will be 22 in July, him and his wife have 2 little boys, one was just 2 in March and the baby was 6 mos. on the 19th. They lived with us for about a year and just moved to N. Carolina a few mos. ago, so we don't see them much either. But we do consider them our "children & grandchildren" (WOW! is this a story or what!? lolol) anyway, that is about it for my children and grandchildren.....except for our animals....we have 6 dogs, 7 cats, 4 birds, one rabbit and 2 fish.....we had more but that is what we are down to! lol.....talk to you all later......

So after you do your 40 ( JANNPA knows what I'm referring to  then come post over here!

Thanks, jannpa, for sharing your story! Us four grandmas (is it?) have to stick together and set these youngsters on the straight and narrow

Merika, just want you to know that when Duke gives someone a hard time, it means the more he loves you! It's just his way! I've learned to live with it...
