Glad she is doing well. Can you tell us the kind of surgery she had? I am being nosy, sorry. Just glad she is doing fine.

Re: What brought you joy today?
Great news indeed Vautrin!
I had just a lousy day which isn't surprising as the entire week has pretty much sucked. What made me happy today was to see Dwoing online and that she brought VV along.

Re: What brought you joy today?
Ya, I am curious too as to what you are apologizing for. I wasn't after your bod or anything. I just liked the hat. Plus I was kind of teasing you about your statement that women have given you more attention in that hat. Some guys can wear them and some can't. You look fine in the hat is all.

Re: What brought you joy today?
Vachel and Vautrin brought Joy to me with their Posts as I read them first thing in the morning! Then just now I read Dwoing's wonderful post; I SOOOO LOVE her!
It was a GREAT day! The wonderful walk to the bus taking my time marveling at the BEAUTY of all the wildflowers on a beautiful morning! The mauves, purples, pinks, whites, yellows, reds and a blue so startling deep that it took my breath away!

I didn't apologize for you liking the hat, but thanks for making it clear that's the ONLY THING you liked .
j/k...
Anyway, I sort of exploded in the car the other day when she ordered me not to plant the trees I'd bought to plant in the yard. A resort of many small demands and insistances that she's made. I was both verbally and emotionally abusive during my tirade, but escaped for a few days and realized the error of my ways, and apologized.

Re: What brought you joy today?
What brought me joy today is ... my dog. His unconditional love and acceptance, his fits and his shedding fur all over the place, tha way he runs for the clean clothes on the bed, when he just came back home from outside -and sitting on them, of course, his bad breath in the morning, trying to see if I woke up... his not letting me out of his sight ever since I arrived... I really missed him

Re: What brought you joy today?
If memory serves, it is a Pekinese.
