Its a new day and already I have joy. My boss called me (I was going to call her) and first she gave me Thursday off to spend with family for a birthday dinner and second she's asked me to come in earlier as tonight she wants me to train the new guy doing the same job as me. That's really awesome and show's she has trust in me.

Yes, that is great then. Or you could start charging more, so you can choose to retire early, if you'd like.

I wonder if you can charge yourself and get the costs paid back by your insurance?? I'd make a career as personal dementia specialist, once I have hit retirement then.

I find I am forgetting things I would not have forgotten when I was a tad younger.

AJ, so happy for you!

It's a GREAT day for me, too! Just got off the phone with a wonderful friend and we're meeting for breakfast tomorrow like old times!

I haven't had cherries for a long, long time and my darling husband bought some for me today! He's always bringing me treats that I don't expect!

It's still morning and I've experienced GREAT joy having a long, luxurious, laugh-filled, chatty breakfast with one of my Great friends! She made it into a Belated Birthday for me, so I received a lovely card and present, too!

I watched a movie called Radio this afternoon and it was based on a true story and reminded me that there are amazing people out there who would go to great lengths for others. That brings me joy.

I think that's wonderful, AJ! I should put that movie on my "Must See Movie List".

Since starting to post on this thread and now, I'm curious to know; is anyone experiencing a much happier, somewhat happier, or noticed no difference at all in your day in the quest for happiness, peace, and fulfillment?

If you are happier, keep on looking for those miracles and happy, grateful moments that occur daily if you are open to them.

If you are somewhat happier, it means you are trying to change your life for the better, and troubles won't affect you as much as they have before.

If you haven't noticed any difference, look within and find what is keeping you from your path to your "Best Life".

No, it's a good thing you are so good at your job, !
Hum... what brought me joy today was probably the conversation with my boss, about my next assignment. I've enjoyed my tennis class, but I have to work a lot tonight - still! Tough day!

My husband and I are both home today having a quiet day together. I LOVE listening to him hum as he works outside on a carpenter project. It's Canada Day and I'm sure there are celebrations galore, but my celebration is being home with my husband!

Watching the sunrise on the rooftop of the Guverment to the amazing music of Dubfire and Steve Lawler among others with 2 good friends of mine from Calgary. Oh, also, making out with both of these friends - at the same time.

Our night started at 10pm, the place closed at 9am and it was just so insane the entire time there, I had such an amazing time.

Now I need to go to sleep until tomorrow morning...
