A Parole board determined Goodwin was a serious threat to re-offend and also expressed concern that his deviant behaviour was escalating, yet he was granted parole two months early and released to a halfway house located next-door to a school.

Shout to the heavens until the right person heard. That just isn't right. The legal system is just so stupid 95% of the time. They don't use common sense. They just go by the book with blinders on. Idiots!!!

i agree with tkdlady on this 110% what a stupid STUPID thing to do, its happened one here before and the residents in the same street put up posters of him all around the town and in the bars and stuff - he got run out of the town. and good for them!

when a pedaphil is living next door to you - you generally want to know especially if you have children

when hes living next to a school - the whole town should know!

Not smart of the parole dolts. And because of all the media attention, chances are he will leave the area - to another area where his inclinations are less likely to be known. And thus continue abuse

This happens a lot here. People petition to get pedophiles out of one area only to see him show up somewhere else, and the process starts all over again!

I hate saying it but this comes as no surprise anymore with our Criminal Justice System. In all honesty, I think they should consider changing the name and making better use of the letters C.J.S. such as Can't Judge Sh1t3.
