How do you deal with Egos

i have a guy with an ego problem where i work. he got promoted and for the last 4 weeks has been utter hell to work with, the team is so fed up with him.

nah, we are all lower then him o it doesnt matter o much what we say, and my manager loves him so it not a very likely chance.

I play good ego so if someone tries to pull it on me, I just overshadow them with my own ego show. I don't strut around like a peacock mind you but dealing war with words is something I've always been good at.

If someone is copping attitude to me, I just spin it into a joke/insult and hit them with it. If their really bad, I'll humiliate them in front of their peers.

I know this sounds awful but I have no patience for dealing with an over inflated ego. I don't know what kind of person this makes me but fortunately, I've never once claimed to be anything even remotely close to perfect.
