What is next? A statue of Jefferson beheaded, because he did not oppose slavery and did not prevent the genocide of Native Americans? And what about just about every member of European 18th and 19th century nobility, for involvement and support of the slave trade? The Duke of Wellington did some very naughty things as well ...
Clearly, I can't support such actions.

Hitler has a wax figure at Madame Tussaud's in London and he is a popular figure - everybody's taking pictures with it.
Of course, Hitler's wax figure in Germany is a much sensitive issue, but I think it's just part of the reality - WWII has certainly shaped our reality. If they cannot handle it, they should just not have such a wax figure, rather then depicting it as a broken man. Because, whether the Germans like it or not, Hitler was the product of the German nation and he only embodied the extremes of a current already existing there.
It'll be really interesting to see how they handle this one 9 if they choose to be political b*tches or not, hahaha!

Nope. It was just a way of referring to the proto-Indo-Europeans, and mostly to the history of the various European languages.

Well, there was a reference of him being the product of the German nation, which would be incorrect. He was mostly a product of the Austrian (Austria-Hungary) nation.

Hitler thought Austria was part of Germany. Only Europeans would find this a major point of discrepency.
At any rate, Vandalism is Vandalism. The wax statue was someone's property, it was damaged, and the state is responsible for making sure some punishment and restitution is made.  |

Austria was a "German" country, just as the US is an "Anglo-Saxon" country.
Not only Europeans make the distinction. Hitler is even a more sensitive issue in Austria.
