I find this very interesting. I have been so down lately that I am just getting more of the same even though I have moments now that I try to move to acceptance with my grief, but am just not there yet. I feel as if I'm suspended somewhere.....

I think that is a bunch of crap. No offence. I watched the secret which is also about positve thought attracting positive things.

Well, I am one of the most positive people in the world and it is definately not working for me. Infact it would be safe to say the exact opposite is happening to me. I'm close to just packing it up and going back to the rigs, where I can be by myself, make lots of money and not have to deal with any thing else.

I have to say thought that I'm with Weiser on this one because I don't think a positive mental attitude guarantees a positive life experience. I do agree that your overall mental attitude is healthier and people are drawn to you more but that would be the extent of it.

I think a positive attitude helps you get over your pain or grief faster than it normally would....I think with everything I've been through this year, if it wasn't for an overall positive attitude and knowing I could fight my way back to feeling good, I would still be down in the dumps and feeling sorry for myself! I'm back to laughing now and it feels SOOO good!

ive found it hard to create positive attitude but my friends and fireblade share theirs and it helps a lot, once one of them starts laughing ends up about 12 of us in tears laughing and we all feel better.

Fireblade bought me that book i liked on Positive Loving Communication, i keep reading it, its very good on working with the mind to be more positive in the way you intereact and talk with people you love. thats a positive
