Re: Weight Issues and Support
Sounds like you're on the right path there, Luba... as for me - I know I'm gonna struggle with finding the energy in the first place to get going on getting some exercise. I never seem to sleep well, or enough.. and that makes it difficult. I'm hoping that once things get in a regular routine around here that it will be easier. (i.e. kids have been out of school and I have to get the registered asap this coming week and start looking for a job, etc. etc.)

Re: Weight Issues and Support
Zil, I found that exercise brings on energy! I know when I get out of bed to exercise, even though I'm tired, within a half hour I feel totally energized and find I am not so tired during the day! It's difficult trying to think that way upon awakening, but I find not thinking, but doing it helps! I hope this helps you, even starting with a half hour! The GREAT feeling that comes from exercising is compared to no other! Good luck, Zil, hope I'm not too pushy!
I find that even though my eyes are barely open, as long as I find my running shoes and lace them up; it's no turning back! ...on my feet, I mean!

Re: Weight Issues and Support
It's early afternoon and I drank five glasses of water! Maybe persistence is the key... thank goodness the bathroom is close by!

Re: Weight Issues and Support
Okay, time to admit it, I bombed!
First the positives! I did exercise, had seven glasses of water, and did great in the morning!
Now the negatives! With munchies still remaining from the holidays, I couldn't resist them in the afternoon!
So...am I down on myself? Not really, I'll just try AGAIN today!

Re: Weight Issues and Support
I think you should go ahead and eat a munchie or two. Just don't over do it. By denying yourself you just set yourself up to binge later. I don't believe in starving yourself or denying the things you really like to eat. You will not stick with a diet that does that. Since you are exercising you can afford to eat a little extra. Don't be down on yourself.

Re: Weight Issues and Support
Actually, I'm not really down on myself though I ate more than one or two munchies! I'm pretty positive about it because today is a new day!
