Received good news

Recieved good news from my mom last night,doctors said they got everything during surgery on the 15th.My mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on my birthday,was caught early and I told her that I am going to be there for support.I was there for support when she had her surgery and she has been doing very well ever since.I gave her a hug and I told her her I love her before she was rolled out to the operating room.She has been getting a lot of get well cards even one from where I work.Everyone knows my mom at my workplace,she once in a while brings down a hot meal, her homemade soup to us for lunch and lemonade during summertime.My co workers give her tip money saying she made a very good hearty meal and my mom likes that.My father is glad I am being there for her for support.

That is wonderful news Caitlynn. But what an awful thing, to hear such news on your birthday. How is your mom recovering from surgery?

My mom is recovery very well from surgery.I admit this was the first aweful news on my birthday I ever had.Doctors say she will have a full recovery and my father is being there for her too,married for 27 years nows and they celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary Monday.My husband Aaron is there for support too,he knows about it,his mom and my mther in law was diagnosed with it 4 years ago.She caught it early too and survived.

Thats great news caitlynn.

It certainly is encouraging to read more and more these days about cancer survivors I just can't wait for the day when cancer is no more harmful than the common cold and can be remedied with over the counter medication.

...provided Cancer isn't replaced by some other super killer that makes AIDS look like an ingrown toenail by comparison.
