Where is my Dutch-English dictionary? I can't make sense of this ...

What is a monitor? Is that the thingy on which you press a lot of buttons?

Self-destructt? Is this a suicide-message? I should call the Anti-Terrorist squad? What is that again?

better be careful guys! the years go by fast! I'm going to turn 41 this year and i HATE it! the way i look at it is that the last 20 years flew by real quick and the next 20, I have a feeling that it'll come just as quick.

being a grandmother as such an early age though makes me feel kind of like a senior. :?

That is something that will not happen to me . Although I already feel a senior compared to my brothers.

Turning fifty was wonderful for me! My husband, sons, and granddaughter and I were all on a Camping trip and one of my sons bought me my favourite shooter and mixed them for me! I know I must sound like a lush, but maybe I'm in denial, but I'm not! (Coming from an alcoholism background I was in my twenties before I knew there was such a thing as a social drinker, and that's what I believe I am)
Anyway, I love where I am in life right now and it took a "lot" of work to get here, believe me! I'm at peace with my life, have no self esteem issues, don't have the desire to be a people pleaser, am having a lot of laughs and a good time!
As I've said before, as long as I look after my health and have my sense of humour, I look forward to aging gracefully! I have a lot of fun plans for Retirement, and pray to God that I remember the important things and let the other stuff go!
I choose to look at the positive aspects of life, such as making the moments count for something! I've learned how to enjoy moments because, after all, they are so precious and shouldn't be wasted, they pass so quickly!

I've been doing that very same thing for the last 5 years or so. Time isn't worth wasting on the little things that don't matter in the end.
