Sounds quite funny huh,

I was cooking dinner while my son was watching sponge bob a commercial came on about farts, one quote " a fart is some air that comes from your Dareair" another quote "some farts don't make noise but smell this is called silent but deadly" another Nick quote " This is called pull my finger when you feel it comming!!"

Funny OK I laughed, but why are they teaching this to kids? With my son it doesn't bother me as much he's a boy they are gross.. LMAO but I don't want him to think it is approiprate to talk about farting especially if I had a daughter....

What do you think? Unapproiprate or Funny Lesson?

Seems a little off for Nickelodean, I could understand YTV or Teletoon though as they tend to have older aged cartoons.

We never really watched the Disney Channel much but then again we had a favorite set of cartoons that we watched and that was it.

Even when my oldest son was young....Nick was famous for making fun of adults and teaching disrespect. Their sense of values suck. I avoided it with the second two kids until they were old enough to chose their own viewing. They like some of the cartoons on there. I don't watch them....but probably should. It's probably where they learn half the garbage they pick up.

they're having a show on kids discovery, i think this week, about farts. I already learned something before i even seen the show. did you know that farts travel 10 miles a second? now that's educational.

yeah... that's a funny story when it happenes to other people. But do you think it's possible to all of a sudden start farting? Why? What could you do? How could you explain your kids?

I think I should get some sleep, I get all freaky scenarios in my head on this subject!

Is the 10 miles per second with or without the aid of wind? It seems to me that if gas can travel that fast then so should many other odors.

I think it's possible to all of a sudden start farting, but then again I'm a man and we can all do it.

No Duke, I mean start farting for a long amount of time. Not necessarily all of a sudden. Like let's say 3 minutes a day. But loud, LOOL.
For months. Would that be a deal breaker for you? I wish I weren't so sleepy to read your answers.
