Hemp Hearts
Does anyone know about Hemp Hearts, and if so, what have been the great health benefits for you?
Here's what I've read and am going to try:
Those who eat at least 42g (four heaping tablespoons) of Hemp Hearts each morning--usually raw on hot cereal--report great energy that lasts all day. According to the "Advice from the Manufacturer" they are less likely to choose sweet snacks and soft drinks before lunch. They are not very hungry until mid-afternoon. Those who choose to lose weight can avoid lunch entirely, often just having a pot of tea in the afternoon, losing up to one pound each day. Because they can easily avoid sweets, saturated fats and carbohydrate foods known to cause obesity, high blood pressure and diabetes, those who eat Hemp Hearts each morning are often able to reverse these and other late onset health conditions.
*More required amino acids than milk, meat or eggs.
*A complete protein source--more balanced and digestible than Soy.
*Contains about 47% oil, 78% of which is omega or essential fats.
*Contains all the essential oromega fat required for human health.
*Contains several times more omega 3 essential fat than any fish.
*More energy than energy bars--with no sugar & less saturated fat.
*Suitable for those unable to eat gluten, sugar, mile, nuts & meat
*Perfect for those with constipation & those avoiding carbohydrates.

Yep....I can just see Luba in the Hippie store buying hemp....thinking it's a 'natural substance'. Well..it really is. Then again....so are peyote buttons and coke leaves.
