Default The Fry Test

After recently watching the documentary "Supersize Me", me and my mom have been urged to try something.

In a special feature on the DVD they take different sandwhiches from McDonald's (chicken, fish, regular burger, big mac) and french fries and then they bought french fries and a burger from a "regular" restaurant.
They then placed each item in an air-tight glass container by themselves and left them to see how they would break down.
After 5 months the fries from Mcdonald's looke dexactly the same as when they bought them.

So, since today (monday) is the first official day of my school year, I wanted to try this out for myself and see what happens.

I'm gonna take pictures every week to see if it changes any and I'll probably post them on here atleast every other week.

Burger King - 9/19/2005

We had a good portion of mold after just ONE week!

the mcdonald's fries had some what stuff and then a little spot of green, when the burger king ones had only a little spot of green.

I don't think the climate differences could be all that different from how they did it that it would change the outcome so drastically.

They claimed that after 5 months there was no mold on their mcdonald's fries when they got thrown out, it only took us one week to get a nice sample of mld (two kind on the mcdonald's ones, too!).

I'm very dissapointed, though happy that the fries people eat aren't as bad as I thought they were.

I was wondering if you were still working on this, lmao

I know a guy who's company has been studying McDonalds fries for a while now as they believe there's a link between the fries and certain cancers.
