Flu Season has hit our house

About a week ago I was around a woman who was sick but being in Taekwondo you shake so many peoples hands that washing them is second nature. Plus being around the kids who are sick doesn't seem to bother me. Well, what ever this lady had I got hit with it starting Friday at work. By Saturday I was fighting fever, chills, sore throat and now it has moved to my chest. Now whenever I sneeze I feel like someone just ripped out my chest. God how I hate getting sick. My husband started feeling bad last night and has been coughing all day. I rarely get sick so this is killing me. I hope I sleep better tonight or tomorrow at work will be a very long day. Hope you all are feeling good.

OMG, that has to be tough, especially with Christmas coming! Wishing that you get well quickly!

hope this passes quick TK. I hate getting sick too. thank god i don't get sick too often. hubby and the kids had some stomach flu that was going around a few weeks ago and i never got it. thank god!

Thanks. I am already feeling better. I don't usually get sick either but when I do I guess it really hits hard.

I too am heavily under the world with some type of cold/flu that has my head feeling like a bowling ball, my lungs raw, my eyes burning and completely weak. It also looks like I'm losing my voice which will certainly make some people happy.

I started feeling a bit funny Sunday night and as of this writing, whatever has me is in full swing. I've just taken 3 Nyquil Gel Tabs so I should pass out soon (hopefully).

Sorry you're not well, Duke! I know you'll be feeling MUCH better by next Tuesday as your loving Mom is coming to visit!

maybe that's duke's plan. to have mommy take care of him while he's sick.

Sorry to hear you are ill as well Duke. It definitely sucks this time of year. I still have a present to make for my daughter but haven't had the energy to do it. I hope I finish before Christmas.
