The Flu
I apologize for my absence here folks but I've had little in the way of energy to do anything other than lay on the couch. I think I caught a flu virus late last week and I'm still very much in the throes of the misery caused by it.
As I type this message, sweat is pouring off me but within a few hours when my Nyquil starts to fail, I'll be freezing once again. I swear, this is the sickest I've been in what may be years.

Thanks again for all the warm comments. I must admit that I'm a bit of a baby when I get sick so all I do is lay around and feel sorry for myself
 This time was especially bad and I ended up missing a weeks work because of it. All that could go wrong did and the reason I was suffering so much was due to fever, intense back pain and an ear infection that I didn't know I had. I'm feeling fine now, my back has regained some of it's lucidity and the ear is definitely on the mend as I'm taking medication for it. The really crappy part was that it took me forever to motivate myself to go to the doctor so I trekked down to my car, went to start it and click, click; no motor, just car alarm. That was the final straw with my car so I'm hoping to pick up a new one early this week.
