Euthanasia
So how do you feel about your right to choose the end of your life if you could no longer go on because of being very strictly health impaired?
Is there still someone around to do the deed since I believe Dr. Kervorkian (is that the right name) BTW, is he is prison or does anyone know what became of him? I hope I don't sound morbid, and I'm not planning on anything like that since I so love life!  I think I read somewhere that it is perfectly legal somewhere in the United States; Oregon comes to mind, but I'm not sure! |

I have a livng will that states to pull the plug after so much time of me being a vegetable. That's not living and i don't want a machine to keep me alive if there is no hope at all. My family knows how i feel about that already.

Euthanasia is legal over here, if it is reported properly, and you have written / said that you'd prefer that the plug be pulled out.
I am too young to decide either way.

I think each person should be able to decide for themselves....but not everyone should be able to decide FOR them. I'm always afraid of legislation like this because people go too far with it. Next thing you know...they are killing off Grandma because she peed in her pants and someone is ready for their inheritance.

Speaking strictly for myself because I guess I soon will be getting to the "peeing in my pants" stage, I am now stopping in the Depends aisle on a semi-regular basis and sighing.....
But the positive thing is I have absolutely "nothing" that my kids want so there is no reason for "killing me off" so to speak! |
