Default Costo-con-whatcha-maca-llit?

So I had this really bad chest pain yesterday when I woke up.
I tried to ignore it as best I could, but after playing football (in the cold air) for a few minutes, I thought I was gonna pass out and it felt like I was having a heart attack.

I went to the doctor today and got it checked out.

It turns out I have "costochronditis" with one of my ribs.
It's when the cartilage between the rib and sternum get inflamed.

So, now I gotta tough it out for the few more days of work we have and then I won't be able to lift much for 4 to four weeks.

Ouch that just sounds painful....Did they give you some anti-inflamatory medication? Feel better and Take care of yourself

It's nothing serious, it basicaly means I just can't lift anything too heavy for a few weeks.
The doctor said to just take an anti-inflammatory, sucha s aleve.

Working today was do-able, but hardly bareable.
We have two more days of work left before we're done for the year, but I don't feel physicaly capable of doing it well.
Not to mention it's elevating the rest of my body aches and pains...

sometimes i get severe pains right in the heart area making it near impossible to breath normally - though it only ever lasts a few seconds. I've never had it checked out. I just figured it was my body's way of getting back at me for all the crap i've put it through.

Glad it's nothing serious man.
