Default Clinics in retail stores bring controversy

By Julie Steenhuysen Thu Aug 23, 3:57 PM ET

CHICAGO (Reuters) - After three months of feeling lethargic with bouts of blurred vision, 65-year-old Jim Einsweiler walked into a clinic in his local Walgreens pharmacy, mostly, he said, to appease his wife.

I don't know how I feel about this. I think it is good for some people because it is easy and a lot of people have issues with doctors and going for regular check ups but it sounds so impersonal. I know my doctors and I trust them. I don't know if I could go to one of these clinics. I will admit that they would be helpful on travel. I hate the doctor because it seems everyone I visit is a complete idiot. The last doctor I saw was with my daughter when she had pink eye. I asked him point blank, should the eye drops be used in both eyes and he said that it wasn't necessary.

So of course I listened to the tard even though common sense (and the instructions) told me to apply it to both eyes. Well, guess what happened in under 2 days, yup, my daughters other eye got infected as well.

I know it's not life threatening or anything but you look to doctors to help you through physical ailments, not to prolong them with mis-information, ignorance or utter stupidity.
