Default Blood Vial Jewelry

Perhaps I'm just a tad too orthodox:

Does anyone else think that jewlrey designed to hold body fluids is just weird?

That's cool... in a weird sort of way. Can't help but thinking that no oe will want to "wear" my blood, now that I'm practically single (he gets here in half an hour. Still have no idea what to say).

Back to your idea: I would have found it soooo cool back in highschool!

That's a little too out there for my tastes. With my luck I'd attract every mosquito from a hundred mile radius.

I would be highly uncomfortable with this type of jewelry.

I have a hard time dealing with blood and seeing human suffering. I always seem to think that our human bodies are wonderful, yet so fragile. "What if this goes wrong, what if that goes wrong?", are always on my mind in sitations of suffering. It is as I somehow absorb the mental anguish they suffer.

I am afraid of horror movies, or any scene in a movie which is extremely violent; but then again, I barely watch TV, as the number of good programs on TV is very limited.

I couldn't see myself walking around with blood around my neck. I think it's gross.

In more Romantic times they just used a bit of hair, or something similar. Not blood!

Probably a disadvantage would be that you can't visually identify one person from the next, if you look at blood. With hair, that is possible.

Hair makes me think of dead people, yukk. Blood... it's alive, it's HOT!!! I think it has to do with the wish to actually posses the other person  .

Strange association Twinkle. Of course cut hair is dead. But blood does not live in the first place; it is only hot, because our bodies are hot, at 37 degrees Celcius (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit?).

It certainly has to do with the desire to possess the other person. But the most important person to possess is always yourself.

Oh, and with the ongoing development of DNA-technologies you have a lot less reason to worry that your lover (who has these things) could clone you on basis of hair, than of blood I think.
